NEW DELHI, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government has approved medical visas to three ailing Pakistani nationals including a 13-year-old girl, officials said Thursday.

The confirmation was given by Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Swaraj took to Twitter to announce its ministry's decision to approve the medical visas of people from neighbouring Pakistan.

"Pakistan nationals Fatima Naeem (13), Mansoor Bhagani and Shehab Asif have sought medical visa for their treatment in India. We have approved their visa," Swaraj tweeted.

Swaraj has been proactive and prompt in reaching out to the people especially distressed ones both Indians as well as foreigners.

She has been seen taking cognizance of issues pertaining to her ministry using social media.
