Hohhot to name Spanish Montull as head coach

HOHHOT, China, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Raul Agne Montull was named the head coach of China's second tier soccer team Hohhot, the club in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region said here on Friday.

The 47-year-old Spaniard played as mid-defender for 14 years and became a soccer coach in 2004.

Montull coached several teams in lower division of Spanish soccer leagues, such as Peralada, Cadiz, Huelva. His recent coaching experience was in Real Zaragoza, a Spanish second division club.

Hohhot, placed 10th last season, looks forward to a brand new start with its foreign coach and its new Chinese coach Zhao Qingfa.
