MADRID, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- The eight matches of the fifth round of the Spanish King's Cup knockout tournament will be played over the coming two days in Spain, with Atletico and Real Madrid having relatively comfortable draws while Cup holders, FC Barcelona will have a more difficult time as they face Celta Vigo coached by their former assistant boss, Juan Carlos Unzue.

Barca travel to Vigo on Thursday evening to face a rival who shocked them with a 2-2 draw in the Camp Nou in the Liga Santander earlier this season in a game in which Unzue, who was assistant to Luis Enrique for the past three campaigns, showed he knows what makes Barca tick and the best way to try and stop them.

Barca, who are still without Samuel Umtiti, who pulled a muscle in that game, struggled to deal with the pace and mobility of Iago Aspas and this looks to be the most interesting of all eight ties in this round.

Real Madrid are also in action on Thursday and following their 3-0 humiliation at home to Barca just before Christmas this looks to be their best chance of silverware this season.

Young striker Borja Mayoral can expect to be given his chance as Madrid travel to Soria to face Liga 123 high-flyers Numancia in a game they need to win comfortably in order to lift some of the pressure on them after seeing their chances of retaining the Liga Santander title virtually disappear in the Classico.

Atletico Madrid fans will be hoping to see the return of Diego Costa as Atletico travel to face third tier Lleida on Wednesday. Costa rejoined Atletico from Chelsea in the summer, but has been unable to play until now due to a FIFA transfer ban.

He and fellow Spain international Vitolo can expect some game time as Atletico take on a side that claimed the scalp of Real Sociedad in the last round.

Formentera's reward for knocking Athletic Club Bilbao out of the Cup was a tie against another Basque side and they entertain an improved Alaves on Wednesday, which also sees an Andalusian derby between Cadiz and Sevilla, who have Vincenzo Montella making his debut as coach following the harsh sacking of Eduardo Berrizo, while Valencia need to recover some form against Las Palmas, for whom the volatile Paco Jemez is in charge for the first time.

Thursday's other two matches see Leganes entertain Villarreal, while Espanyol take on Levante.
