Equity benchmarks extended gains in morning on last day of the week, tracking positive global cues. Banking, financials and metals stocks continued to gain.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 34,072.28, 102.64 points or 0.34 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,969.64.
