RIYADH, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition on Wednesday called upon the UN to handle the supervision tasks of Al Hadida port in transferring of humanitarian aids to Yemenis.

The coalition spokesperson Turki Al Maliki highlighted in a press conference in Riyadh that the port has been the rout of the militias to target the navigation in the region, Al Arabiya local news reported.

He said that Houthis have radars to monitor the coalition forces and alleged the existence of foreign experts to assist the Houthi rebels.

He said the coalition has provided 1,800 permissions for humanitarian aids to enter Yemen through Al Hadida port.

Saudi Arabia has been leading a number of Arab and Islamic countries in the war against Houthis in Yemen since 2015 with no signs of slowing down or an end to the conflicts that left thousands of civilians dead.
