NEW YORK, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 9km ENE of Paluan, Philippines at 15:49:25 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 13.4418 degrees north latitude and 120.5492 degrees east longitude.
