WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Philadelphia Sixers' J.J. Redick will be sidelined for two weeks due to a leg injury, the team announced on Tuesday.

With 4:37 remaining in the fourth quarter of the team's game against the Toronto Raptors at home on Monday, Redick sustained the injury to his left leg. He underwent X-rays following the game, which were negative.

An MRI was performed on Tuesday that revealed edema and a small cortical crack in the fibular head of Redick's left leg and he is out and will be re-evaluated in approximately 10 days to two weeks, the team added.
