BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.24 percent to 3,444.67.
The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.73 percent to close at 11,303.97.
