RIYADH, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia announced on Monday the end of the settlement stage in the largest anti-corruption campaign in the modern history of the kingdom.

The estimated value of settlements stands at more than 106 billion U.S. dollars in various types of assets, including real estate, commercial entities, securities and cash.

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Committee formed to conduct the corruption probe said in a statement that 381 individuals were summoned.

A total of 56 individuals remain in custody, as the Attorney General refuses to settle with them because of other pending criminal cases.

The four-month anti-corruption campaign is one of the many steps Saudi Arabia has taken in its economic reforms to be fully prepared for the post-oil era.
