RIYADH, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al- Jubeir revealed Tuesday an offer by his country to send forces of the Islamic Alliance to fight terrorism in Syria, Al Arabiya local news reported.

His comments were made during a press conference here with the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who reiterated that no solutions exist in either Syria or Yemen other than political ones.

The Saudi official stressed that the success of any political solution in Yemen depends on the Houthis militias.

He said that his country didn't want a war in Yemen and it was forced to be involved in it after the coup against the elected government by the Houthi rebels.

He said that the militias have hardened the political process in Yemen because of Iran's obstinacy and interference.

The UN general-secretary said that the UN has seen the humanitarian aid distribution in Yemen improved significantly in recent weeks.
