HONG KONG, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 424.190 points, or 1.400 percent, to 30,708.441 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 30,451.002 and 30,761.469. Turnover totaled 114.90 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 14.64 billion U.S. dollars).
