XI'AN, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Jiangsu Suning extended their winning streak on home turf in the Chinese Super League to four games on Sunday, defeating newly-promoted Dalian Yifang 1-0.

Suning had moved to the fourth place of the league table after this victory.

Chinese rising star Huang Zichang scored the only goal of the game in the 58th minute when he slotted the ball from close range after receiving Ji Xiang's free kick.

The 21-year-old striker missed a sitter six minutes later when facing an empty net, but his shoot was just above the bar.

The Dalian team last week have clinched their first victory in the top flight under German coach Bernd Schuster, who replaced local manager Ma Lin to take the reigns of the team on March 19.

But the league powerhouse Jiangsu dominated since the start of the match on Sunday. Alex Teixeira could have put Suning ahead in the first half, but his two aggressive attempts were denied by the post and Dalian's goalkeeper Zhang Chong respectively.

In the other game played on Sunday, Henan Jianye edged Beijing Renhe 1-0. The victory lifted Jianye out of the relegation zone temporarily.
