NAIROBI, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Long-term absentees Dennis Ombachi and Oscar Ayodi made their return to the Kenya squad in the final rounds of the 2017/18 HSBC Sevens World Series in London and Paris, the team coach revealed on Wednesday.
Ombachi has been out since injuring his ankle at the season opener in Dubai, while Ayodi was last in action in Cape Town where he sustained a knee injury.
According to head coach Innocent Simiyu, Brian Tanga will also make the trip while Erick Ombasa travels as the 13th player.
Personal commitments will keep Oscar Ouma out of the travelling party while Samuel Oliech misses out due to injury. Daniel Sikuta is away on leave.
Shujaa currently sit sixth on the log with 93 points and have been placed in Pool C for the London Sevens taking place on June 2 and 3 at Twickenham.
They will start their campaign against the USA before playing France and England.
