MADRID, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid's celebrations after winning the 13th Champions League title in the club's history were mooted after two of their star players both dropped hints they want to leave.

Speaking directly after the final whistle of the game which they won with two goals from Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo made an enigmatic comment that, "it was very nice to be at Real Madrid."

"I will give an answer to the fans in the next few days," he added.

Speaking later in the mixed zone, Ronaldo refused to change his message, and although he said he "shouldn't" have made his comments, "something is going to happen. I was honest."

"In a week I am going to say something," he continued, adding that the problem "comes from a long way back, I have been holding on and holding on and in the end you lose control." he commented, before explaining the issue was not economic.

Bale was the hero of the night after coming on as a 60th minute substitute and voted the MVP of the game after scoring Madrid's last two goals, the first of which was an overhead kick, which is arguably the best goal ever seen in a Champions League final.

However, the Welshman, who was also a substitute in the semifinals also dropped a hint that he was considering a move from the Bernabeu.

"I need to be playing week-in, week-out and that hasn't happened this season for one reason or another. I have to sit down in the summer and discuss my future with my agent and take it from there," he said, implying that unless he gets a guarantee of being a regular starter in big games, he too will be on the move.
