STUTTGART, June 13 (Xinhua) -- China overcome a marathon struggle on Tuesday against hosts Germany in the FIVB Women's Nations League after a 3-2 comeback win in a game that lasted two hours and 41 minutes.

Chinese players Gong Xiangyu, Li Yingying and Duan Fang all notched up 12 points as China wrapped up the victory by 20-25, 25-27, 25-17, 25-23 and 15-8 following their 3-0 loss to the USA.

Kimberly Drewniok led Germany with 23 points with Jennifer Geerties and Maren Fromm adding 19 and 13 points respectively. Although Germany did a better job on attack, China got 37 points from their opponents' errors, while Germany were only able to conjure up 16.

"I tried my best to help the team. We made too many mistakes in the end. It hurts but tomorrow is a new day, where we want to take the first home win," Drewniok said.
