Chinese shares close higher Wednesday

BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.27 percent to end at 2,915.73 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.92 percent higher at 9,501.34 points.
