4.6-magnitude quake hit Myanmar-India border

YANGON, June 20 (Xinhua) -- A 4.6-mganitude earthquake Wednesday hit Myanmar-India border region, said the meteorology and hydrology department.

With an epicenter of 61 km north of Sagaing region's Tamu seismological observatory, Myanmar-India border, the quake struck at 14:14:25. local time (07:44:25 GMT).

Meanwhile, minor earthquake measuring 4.2 on Ritcher scale jolted Myanmar's Ayeyarwady region, with an epicenter of 28 kilometers northwest of Pathein, at 03:36:33. local time (21:06:33 GMT) Wednesday.

No damage by the two earthquakes has been reported so far.
