Hong Kong stocks close 0.16 pct higher

HONG KONG, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 44.61 points, or 0.16 percent, to 28,525.44 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,500.51 and 28,715.36. Turnover totaled 84.46 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.76 billion U.S. dollars).
