HONG KONG, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 14.22 points, or 0.05 percent, to 28,539.66 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,327.0 and 28,699.21. Turnover totaled 70.06 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 8.92 billion U.S. dollars).
