An old and dilapidated house is seen in Kolkata, India on July, 28, 2018. Many old and dilapidated houses are still inhabited by people of Kolkata in spite of repeated notice for evacuation from Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) due to possibility of collapse and accident. Most house occupants fail to repair or maintain the structures due to financial reasons. Every year houses of these types collapse and cause death for many especially during the rainy season. At present there are over 2000 buildings in danger often with yellow boards displaying the warning "beware of dangerous house". (Xinhua/Tumpa Mondal)
