KUNMING, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province seized two drug traffickers and confiscated about 60 kilograms of methamphetamine, the local public security department announced Saturday.
Police in Lincang City intercepted a car on a highway early Wednesday morning and found three bags of methamphetamine in the trunk. A further suspect was caught in another car soon after.
Both the suspects tested positive for drugs and are currently in police custody.
The case is under further investigation.
Yunnan is the main focal point of the national anti-drug campaign as it borders the Golden Triangle, known for drug production and trafficking.
