Kuwait condemns blast in Somalia's Mogadishu

KUWAIT CITY, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- The Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah condemned on Monday a car bomb attack in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.

The Kuwaiti emir offered condolences to Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed and expressed the Kuwait's strong condemnation of this blatant and criminal act, KUNA said.

He wished quick recovery for the injured, saying that such criminal act is renounced by all humanitarian doctrines and values.

At least three Somali soldiers were killed and over ten others were injured on Sunday after a car bomb exploded near the headquarters of Howlwadag district in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, officials said Sunday.
