JERUSALEM, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli cyber-intelligence company ClearSky said on Thursday that the Hebrew-language website "Tel Aviv Times" is an Iranian fake news website aimed at influencing public opinion in Israel.

The website, whose address is www.tel-avivtimes.com, has about 65,000 hits a month, most of them from Israel.

The website also has a popular Facebook page with about 17,000 followers.

ClearSky notes that the Iranian network also operates two Arabic-language websites, the first dealing with news diversion, and the other promoting the image of Iran.

No comments are yet available from the Iranian side.
