Indonesian, Mauritius to play friendly on Tuesday

JAKARTA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian national soccer team will play Mauritius on Tuesday in a friendly, coach assistant Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto said here on Monday.

The match is scheduled to be held in Wibawa Mukti sport stadium in Bekasi, an outskirt city of the Indonesia's capital of Jakarta, the coach assitant said.

The match has been listed in the FIFA matchday agenda, which means that should the Indonesian national team beat its opponent, it will raise the position of the team in the FIFA rankings.

"It will add the strength of the players, it will be really meaningful," Mukti said of the required support of local fans.

Indonesia is ranked in 164th place and Mauritius is a little higher in 155th place in the FIFA rankings.
