FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series to be held at Chun'an in China

CHUN'AN, China, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Olympic champions Ferry Weertman, Sharon Van Rouwendaal, Gregorio Paltrinieri will show off at the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series to be held in Qiandao Lake, Chun'an County in east China on Sept .16.

A total of 76 swimmers from 14 countries and regions will compete in the 7th leg of the Marathon Swim World Series in 2018.

Xin Xin, fourth placed finisher in Rio Olympic Games and winner of Lac Megantic stop in Canada, will lead other 24 Chinese swimmers to compete in Qiandao Lake.

Chun'an is the seventh leg out of eight of Marathon World Series as the last stop will come to Abu Dhabi on Nov. 9.
