DAMASCUS, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian Ministry of Transportation declared Saturday the re-opening of the Nasib Border Crossing with Jordan, which has been closed since 2015, according to the state news agency SANA.
A ministry statement said the border crossing has been opened and the movement of trucks and transit to and from Syria has resumed.
The border crossing was closed in 2015 when the rebels took over the Nasib area and the crossing in the countryside of Daraa Province in southern Syria.
