HANOI, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will compete in the 2019 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U22 Championship slated for Feb. 17-March 2 next year in Cambodia, the Vietnam Football Federation said on Friday.
Vietnam is in Group A along with Brunei, Laos, Thailand and Timor Leste, while Group B consists of Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore.
The 2019 AFF U22 Championship will serve as a warm-up for the qualifying round of the 2020 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship in China.
