Celtics guard Irving fined for throwing ball into spectator stands

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has been fined 25,000 U.S. dollars for throwing the basketball into the spectator stands, the NBA announced on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Celtics' 115-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Monday.

The Celtics now sit fourth in the East Conference with six wins and four defeats.
