Development of Chrysanthemum industry helps villagers to get rich in Wuyuan, east China's Jiangxi

Farmers work in the chrysanthemum field in Sikou Town of Wuyuan County, east China's Jiangxi Province, Nov. 8, 2018. The local farmers are organized in recent years in a campaign to create a combination of trade company plus production coop plus farmer organism in order to streamline the marketing of chrysanthemum, a traditional Chinese medicine herb. The county, with over 4000mu (about 266 hectares) of chrysanthemum plantation, expects a revenue of 40 million yuan (about 5.7 million U.S. dollars) , meaning 15,000 yuan ( about 2,200 US dollars) for every farmer, out of the herb production this year.
