TEHRAN, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday slammed the recent attacks by Israel on Gaza Strip as "state terrorism."

In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said that "terrors, crimes and aggression of the usurper regime of Israel still go on with the support and encouragement of the U.S. government amid the silence of some regional countries."

Qasemi urged immediate international intervention to stop what he called "the Zionist regime's terrors and war machine."

Since Monday afternoon, a total of seven people were killed and more than 25 others wounded during the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on military facilities that belong to Hamas movement and Islamic Jihad militants in the Gaza Strip.
