TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- German coach Gerhard Schrodinger has been linked with a move to Iranian Esteghlal soccer team, IRAN Daily reported on Saturday.
Winfried Schaefer, Esteghlal head coach, has reportedly demanded Esteghlal's officials to hire his compatriot, Schrodinger, as his assistant.
Schrodinger has worked as goalkeeping coach of TSG Pfeddersheim.
Esteghlal currently sits eighth in Iran's top tier league table.
