TOKYO, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks edged lower Thursday morning.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average shed 3.54 points, or 0.02 percent, from Wednesday to close the morning at 21,504.00.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 1.02 points, or 0.06 percent, at 1,614.87.
Mining, bank and metal product-oriented issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
