MACAO, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The gaming industry revenue in China's Macao increased by 8.5 percent year-on-year to 25.00 billion patacas (about 3.11 billion U.S. dollars) in November, the special administrative region's gaming industry watchdog said here Monday.

Macao's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said in its latest report that the accumulated revenue in 2018 had reached 276.38 billion patacas (about 34.37 billion dollars), 13.7 percent higher than the same period of 2017.

Macao's gaming revenue witnessed a significant slowdown in September and October this year as the growth rate of the two months hit 2.8 percent and 2.6 percent respectively, the lowest record so far in 2018.

Macao's monthly gaming revenue registered a 1.1 percent year-on-year rise in August 2016, ending a 26-month slump of the industry. Since then the monthly revenue had kept a year-on-year growth as of November, which recorded the 28th monthly rebound.
