HONG KONG, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 6.81 points, or 0.03 percent, to 26,087.98 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,002.3 and 26,186.3. Turnover totaled 55.42 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 7.10 billion U.S. dollars).
