BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- All law firms in the Chinese mainland except those in Fujian, Guangxi and Hainan have set up Communist Party of China (CPC) organizations as of the end of November, the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) said on Friday.

As part of the Party building work among lawyers and law firms, all provincial-level lawyers' associations in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, as well as the one in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, have established Party committees, according to the ACLA.

Several Party training bases have been set up, and a regulation guiding the Party building work in law firms has been formulated, said the ACLA.

By the end of 2017, there were more than 365,000 lawyers in China, among whom more than 117,000 were registered as CPC members.
