MEXICO CITY, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Toluca have signed Colombia international forward Felipe Pardo from Olympiacos, the Mexican club said on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old will be contracted with the Liga MX outfit until mid-2022 and his immediate task is to bolster the side's attack for Mexico's Clausura tournament, which begins on Friday. Financial details of the move were not provided.
Pardo made just 49 league appearances for Olympiacos after joining the Greek side from Portugal's Braga in 2015. He had a brief loan spell with French club Nantes in 2016-17, scoring once in the 13 Ligue 1 matches.
The former Independiente Medellin player has been capped three times for Colombia's national team, scoring one goal.
Toluca will begin their Clausura campaign with a visit to Monarcas Morelia on Friday.
