20 trapped in northwest China coal mine accident

XI'AN, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- A roof collapse in a coal mine in northwest China's Shaanxi Province left about 20 people trapped underground, local authorities said Saturday.

The accident happened in the city of Shenmu around 6 p.m. Rescuers have rushed to the scene.
