ANKARA, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- A tornado which struck Turkey's southern city Antalya on Thursday has left a 13-year-old child dead, one woman missing and 10 more people injured, local daily Sabah reported.
The tornado caused damage to many vehicles, agricultural estates and greenhouses in Kumluca and Finike districts of Antalya, the report said.
The injured have been transferred to hospital and two people were severely injured, Antalya governor Munir Karaloglu said.
Antalya is a popular tourism destination and important agriculture region which is among Turkey's largest fruit and vegetable production centers.
In November 2017, at least 38 people were injured in a tornado disaster which struck several districts of Antalya province.
