OSAKA, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- South Korea defender Kim Young Gwon has completed his move from Chinese Super League(CSL)giants Guangzhou Evergrande to Gamba Osaka, the Japan Professional Football League (J League) side announced here on Saturday.

It will be Kim Young Gwon's second spell in J League as he played for F.C. Tokyo and Omiya Ardija before moving to Guangzhou in 2012. During his 6-year period in China, Kim Young Gwon helped Guangzhou Evergrande claim 6 CSL titles and win the AFC Champions League twice.

Due to the foreign player policy of CSL, Kim Young Gwo's playing time had been reduced in recent seasons. His contract with Evergrande was due to expire this summer, it is said Evergrande did't set any obstacles for his transfer.

According to Gamba Osaka, Kim Young Gwon will wear No. 19 next season.
