RIYADH, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Saudi Arabian government said on Monday that it expected the investment in industry and logistics services to reach 1.2 trillion riyals (320 billion U.S. dollars) from 2019-2020, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), which will be inaugurated by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud late on Monday, includes four domains for investment: energy, industry, mining, and logistics, said the report.

It will provide 1.6 million jobs and an increase of more than 1 trillion riyals in export volume, it added.

Saudi Arabia's 2019 budget has allocated 33 billion riyals for the energy, industry, mining and logistics sectors, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih said in a tweet last month.
