Pic story: long journey home for college student Yang Mengping

Yang Mengping (R) has his ticket checked before boarding homebound train numbered K4663 at the Shanghai South Railway Station in Shanghai, east China, Jan. 24, 2019. Yang Mengping, a student from Shanghai-based East China University of Science and Technology, needs to spend three days heading to his home, which is located at Qianxin Township of Huidong County in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province. After about 41 hours of railway journey from east China's Shanghai to Chengdu in Sichuan, Yang has to take a coach bus to his hometown.
