XI'AN, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- A digital museum in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, home to the famous Terracotta warriors, has received more than 2 million page views from over 120 countries since its operation.

The online museum digitalizes cultural relics and exhibitions of more than 140 actual museums in the province, which can be accessed by netizens across the world.

So far, nearly 300 pictures and 3D-constructed images of rare cultural relics, as well as over 80 forum videos have been displayed on the website.

The online museum started operation in 2012.

Shaanxi is rich in cultural relics. The capital Xi'an was capital of 13 dynasties in the past, including the Qin (221 B.C.-207 B.C.) and Tang (618-907).

The province has more than 280 museums, holding more than 7 million cultural relics.
