AMMAN, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- The World Economic Forum will host its regional meeting on the Middle East and North Africa in Jordan on April 6-7.
The meeting, held in partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, will be the 10th meeting in Jordan and 17th meeting in the region, according to an official statement from the forum on Monday.
More than 1,000 government, business and civil society leaders from over 50 countries will convene to discuss the impact of new technologies on the Arab world, means to strengthen entrepreneurship, peace and reconciliation efforts across the region, and the effects of climate change and other environmental challenges, according to the statement.
