BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- A 7.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Ecuador at 6:17 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 2.15 degrees south latitude and 76.91 degrees west longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 140 km, the CENC said in a statement.
