MINSK, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Russian biathlete Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht won the gold medal in women's pursuit race at the European Championships in Minsk on Sunday.
Yurlova-Percht overcame the distance of 10 kilometers in 27 minutes and 43.4 seconds, and made one mistake.
Belarusia's Irina Krivko won the silver medal (+37,5; one penalty).
The third place went to German Nadine Horchler (+49,4; one penalty).
A total of 53 athletes went to the start of the pursuit.
