OTTAWA, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Tina Hermann led a German podium sweep in women's skeleton action on Friday at the bobsled and skeleton world championships.
Hermann posted a four-run time of three minutes 33.03 seconds at the Whistler Sliding Centre, followed by Jacqueline Loelling (3:33.41) and Sophia Griebel (3:34.20).
Czech athlete Anna Fernstaedtova was the best performed non-German slider in fourth, 1.77 seconds adrift.
China's Ln Huiyang failed to qualify for the final after three runs.
