SEOUL, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Two-time winners Guangzhou Evergrande of China lost to Daegu FC of South Korea in the 2019 AFC Champions League Tuesday.

The Group F match was held at the Forest Arena in the South Korean southeastern city of Daegu, where the Chinese team lost to the South Korean soccer team 3-1.

In the second round of the group stage games, Edgar of Daegu FC scored two goals in the 24th and 43rd minutes of the first half.

Anderson Talisca of the Guangzhou Evergrande scored a goal in the eighth minute of the second half, but it failed to reverse the match.

Maintaining the lead, Kim Dae-won of the Daegu FC added one more goal in the 36th minute of the second half.
