NANJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Maritime monitoring vessel Yuanwang-5 docked at a port in east China's Jiangsu Province on Friday, after finishing its observation and control task of communication satellite ChinaSat 6C on the Pacific Ocean.
ChinaSat 6C was sent into orbit on March 10 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Yuanwang-5 quickly and accurately tracked the position of the satellite and efficiently transmitted data.
The vessel has conducted more than 1,800 days of sea operations, safely navigating over 400,000 nautical miles in 57 maritime observation and control missions.
