WASHINGTON, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Jusuf Nurkic got 32 points and 16 rebounds before suffering a horrible left leg injury, with the Portland Trail Blazers edged the Brooklyn Nets 148-144 in 2 overtimes on Monday night.

The Nets overcame a sluggish start as Rodions Kurucs got an alley-oop dunk by D'Angelo Russell's assist and grabbed a seven-point lead. Thanks to Damian Lillard's three-pointer, the Trail Blazers outscored Nets and finished with 31-27 into the second quarter.

Trail Blazers attempted to extend the lead but failed as star guard Russell of Nets had a highlight performance.

Curry stole the ball and hit a clutch free throw to tie the match at 120 before Russell missed a long range shot into overtime.

Big size center Nurkic hit two free throws before Russell got a driving layup and tied it up 132 into the second overtime.

Trail Blazers closed on an 7-0 run in the final minutes to pull away for the win, including Rodney Hood's key three-pointers. However, Nurkic was off the court on a stretcher after jumping for an offensive rebound and fell down unbalanced in the paint area.

Both sides have seven players in double figures, Lillard added 31 points and 12 assists behind Nurkic's 32, Russell finished with a game-high 39 points for the Nets.
