3 injured in Israeli strike on arson balloons launchers in northern Gaza: medics

GAZA, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Three Palestinians were wounded on Thursday in an Israeli drone airstrike in northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian medics said.

Palestinian security sources meanwhile said that an Israeli drone launched a missile on a group of youth north of Jabalia refugee camp northern Gaza Strip who were releasing arson balloons from the area into Israel, causing three injuries.

According to the sources, the three injured were taken to the Indonesian hospital for treatment and their wounds were described as moderate.

Since the start of the "Great March of Return" in March 2018, Israeli soldiers have shot dead over 260 demonstrators and wounded around 26,000 others. Most of them were wounded by Israeli gunfire, according to officials of Gaza Health Ministry.
